The next morning after camp we hiked up the trail and all of a sudden there is the Hidden Forest Cabin of Desert National Wildlife Refuge. And YES the stove and the sink works! There is a bed platform too but I prefer my tent so that Sean, Chaco, and I can have a slumber party. I'm not going to lie my hands were SO cold after painting this cute little postcard painting. I had to paint on a beautiful day in the words to the sound of woodpeckers and Chaco and Sean running around. On the way out it was a bright and sunny day just BEGGING for us to come back! We had already forgotten how cold it was that night! Until the next adventure! Into the van we go!
Thanks for spending time exploring some of my art adventures outdoors. Where should I go next? Comment below! Happy Adventures! Mary Felker P.S. Check out this article about how the Air Force wants to take land away from the Desert National Wildlife Refuge. |
